Advanced Structural Enhancement Options
KNURLED BEADING
Knurled beading involves machining small ridges into the bead seat area of a wheel, where the tire contacts the rim. This feature enhances grip between the tire and wheel, reducing the risk of tire slippage during high-torque applications like racing, drifting, or off-roading.
It also helps maintain air pressure by preventing micro-movements of the tire bead, which can lead to slow leaks or unseating under load. Knurled beading is especially beneficial for vehicles operating under aggressive conditions or with lower tire pressures.
ANNULAR REINFORCEMENT
Annular reinforcement refers to a strengthened ring or thicker material integrated into the wheel’s inner or outer barrel. This added structure improves the wheel’s rigidity and helps distribute stress more evenly, increasing resistance to impacts from potholes, curbs, or track use.
It also reduces fatigue over time, making the wheel more durable under repeated stress cycles. This feature is ideal for performance, heavy-duty, or off-road applications where structural integrity is critical.
